Today’s burning question: Finch loves books, and he loves technology. Why doesn’t he own a Kindle?
(Not that I WANT him to, mind you. There’s something incredibly attractive about a man toting a battered hardback or paperback everywhere he goes. I’m just wondering why he doesn’t.)

You can’t stay off the grid AND download all your books from Amazon, people. As it is, even the public library already logs and saves all the books you check out so they can (and will, as it’s now required by law) turn the list over to the authorities in case they want to know what you’ve been reading. There’s something deliciously anonymous about a scrubby used paperback bought with cash in a secondhand bookshop, eh?
