- John: Good location. Clear line of sight. Enough obstructions and distance to avoid being seen.
- Harold: I built an app that alerts me if I ever get within a hundred meters of her. I've never regretted building the machine, but I didn't fully realize the personal cost. I'm good with computers, people—well, people other than Grace. I've always been a mystery to me. I failed to recognize the length to which they would go to to protect the Machine, to CONTROL it. By the time I realized it was too late for me, but not for her. You see, Mr. Reese, if knowing about the Machine is like a virus, that makes me Patient Zero. Simply being near me was putting her life in danger.
- John: I'm sorry.
- Harold: I was LUCKY. I had four years of...happiness. Some people only get four days.
REESE READING AGAIN-NO GOOD DEED
REESE: (Reading Crime and Punishment and not paying attention to Finch’s information on the POI)
FINCH:….Are you following me?
REESE: Financial…shakes his head
FINCH: They all can’t be babies and Mafia Dons.
FINCH: ….I haven’t been able to hack into his voice mail, e-mail or any other on-line accounts.
REESE: Secretive, solitary- He is just like you Finch.
So much to love in and during these few lines. Reese reading (and pretending not to pay attention), the pulse-quickening “Are you following me” line, and the allusion to previous episodes (every time they do this I feel giddy — even just John calling Harold “secretive” reminds me of ‘Legacy’ when he describes ‘his boss’ to Andrea).

It makes me happy seeing them engage in sneaky shenanigans together side by side (in broad day light and out in the open no less!).
C’mon, it’s unnatural when nobody does a double-take at these two standing side by side in public.
Now I don’t ship these two, but there is something absolutely charming and irresistible about their relationship. And there were loads of good caps in this episode. From No Good Deed 1.22
