In the event that Finch had been too late and Reese had died last week…
I’m actually pretty proud of this, I have to say.
Very nice! Me gusta!
Oh my, the feels this is causing… now I want to write an AU fic where he did die that night, a tad different from my Grief fic.
Now if only Mark would stop Fusco’ing my google docs so I could write.
God you are right, Reese IS this to Finch. O_O NEW TIDES OF EMOTIONS. You are right to be proud, this is fantastic.

In the latest Podcast of Interest, the two hosts came up with a truly cracky theory pertaining to Ingram. At first I dismissed it as I have with all their other wild speculations.
But I was thinking about it just now, and I think this may have the potential to actually happen.
The first time we ever saw Ingram, the title of the episode is ‘Ghost’. Last night, we saw him again albeit in a photo (I think it’s safe to assume that that was him with Finch in that photo), and the title of the book where the photo fell out is “The Ghost In The Machine”.
Guess what the theory was? That when Ingram died (murder, suicide, accident, etc.), his consciousness went/was injected into the Machine. And he’s been there ever since.
When JJ Abrams and Jonas Nolan are involved, nothing is coincidence. Just like the hosts said, how insane would this show become if this happens?!
After ‘Number Crunch’, what Reese said in ep 3 (I think) feels much more poignant.
SHE IS SO CUTE!!!!

The nonchalant way he says this only a true nerd (I use this term with utmost fondness) can. Reese’s minusculely amused facial expression. Finch not really expecting Reese to understand. The tinge of wistfulness in his voice when he says “Not really”, as if in his heart he wished it were true.

whms:
2. John Reese - Person of Interest: Kicks ass and has the whole mysterious thing going for him. If you haven’t seen the episode Cura Te Ipsum, watch it now. The end is exactly what I mean when I say he can be entirely captivating and terrifying at the same time. In a given moment, he could give you his hand or his fist.

I don’t hate Carter even after what she’s done in today’s ep. She’s a cop and a soldier, trained to obey orders, even when she doesn’t agree with them. She didn’t know those two were planning on actually shooting Reese. Hell, I don’t think anybody had anticipated that. That’s just not how things usually happen on TV. And I believe she was genuinely worried about Reese in the end there.
Laughter..
Anger..
